The first assistant to the head of the Department, engineer Abbas Ali, said that " the department has made several preparations coinciding with the arrival of the summer, through the deployment of about (150) water containers in the Holy Courtyard, in addition to the deployment of about (50) containers, most of them in Bab al-Qibla and the rest of the streets leading to the holy shrine.
He added that"the containers are continuously supplied with sterile water (Ro), and ice cubes to provide cold drinking water for visitors to the shrines of Imam al-Hussayn and his brother Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon them)".
Ali explained that" the water containers are supplied daily with about (150) big Ice cubes, "pointing out that"the Department's staff provided those containers with umbrellas that protect them from the sun's rays and heat to keep the water cold as long as possible."
